"Client," "you," or "your" means the person or business that uses our website or orders our services. "Services" means the image editing, retouching, clipping path, background removal, and related work we provide. "Images" or "files" means the photos and other files you send us for editing. "Order" means a request you place for one or more services. "Deliverables" means the edited files we return to you.

We offer a wide range of photo editing and graphic design services. These include clipping path, background removal, image masking, ghost mannequin, shadow creation, color correction, and high-end services such as retouching, HDR blending, focus stacking, composite and CGI, raster-to-vector conversion, image restoration, and video editing. We also offer AI image generation and AI-assisted editing reviewed by human editors.

Some high-end services are not part of the per-service calculator. We scope and price these individually based on the brief you send.

We may add, change, or remove services at any time.

You can get an instant estimate from the calculator on our website, or request a custom quote for larger or non-standard jobs. Quotes are estimates based on the information you provide. Final pricing depends on the actual images, services, complexity, and volume in your order.

An order is confirmed once you approve the scope and price and submit your files. When you place an order, you confirm that the details you provided are accurate and that you have the right to send us the images.

Our prices are per service. One service means one edit applied to one image, such as a clipping path, a shadow, or a retouch. An image that needs three services counts as three. Prices start from $0.20 per service, and volume discounts apply automatically as order size grows.

You can pay per job, by invoice, or through prepaid credits and subscription plans. Payment terms depend on your account type and the plan you choose. Credit facilities may be offered to eligible clients at our discretion. All prices are in US dollars unless stated otherwise. You are responsible for any taxes that apply in your location. An additional 3% transaction charge may apply if needed.

New clients may submit sample images for a free trial. We edit them to your specifications and deliver in less than 24 hours, with no payment details required. The free trial is offered so you can judge our quality before paying. We may limit the number of trial images and may decline trial requests we believe are abusive or not made in good faith. Images that are sent for a free trial may be used as our promotional or marketing material unless you tell us not to.

Also note that we may refuse to process your trial if it would take more than two hours to complete, such as logo design, image restoration, complex raster-to-vector conversion, high-end retouching, video editing, or 3D projects. You must include your website address when you fill out the free trial form; this is mandatory. Color Experts International (CEI) also reserves the right to refuse any trial work if we do not receive enough contact information. Personal image editing work does not fall under the free trial offer.

Standard turnaround is 24 hours from an approved order. Rush turnaround, from 4 to 12 hours, is available on most categories for an added fee (up to 100%). Turnaround times are targets, not guarantees. Delays can happen due to large volume, complex work, unclear instructions, incomplete files, or events outside our control. We will tell you if we expect a delay.

You must send files in a usable format and include clear instructions. If the instructions are not fully understood, we may work on them based on our best judgement and experience, and those files may require further revisions. You are responsible for keeping your own backup copies of all original files. We are not liable for the loss of files you did not back up.

We offer free revisions. If an edit does not match your brief, tell us and the same editor will redo the work until it meets your standard, at no extra charge. Revisions must be based on your original instructions. New requests, added services, or changes to the original scope may be treated as a new order and priced accordingly.

Your first paid order comes with a money-back guarantee. If you are not satisfied with your first order, you may request a full refund. A refund will only be initiated if we are unable to deliver your files based on your original instructions even after revisions. Any additional instructions are not eligible for either revisions or refunds. Refunds are processed within a reasonable time after your request.

You keep all rights to the images you send us and to the edited files we deliver. Once your order is paid in full, the images or other files are yours to use. You may not use edited files that have not been approved and paid for.

You confirm that you own the images you send, or that you have permission to use and edit them. You are responsible for any claim that arises from images you did not have the right to send. We are not responsible for the content of the images you provide.

The design, text, and layout of our website and communications material belong to Color Experts and are protected by law. You may not copy or reuse them without our permission.

We treat your files and project details as confidential. We sign a non-disclosure agreement with clients when needed. We maintain GDPR compliance. Your images are encrypted in transit and at rest and are processed under a formal Data Processing Agreement. We do not use your images to train AI models.

We permanently delete your files 60 days after delivery. This period may be extended upon request. Our handling of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

You agree not to send us any images that are unlawful, infringe on others' rights, or contain illegal, harmful, or offensive content. We may refuse or stop any order that breaks this rule or that we believe is being used for an unlawful purpose. We may report unlawful content to the proper authorities where required.

You may cancel an order before work begins. Once editing has started, cancellation may not be possible, or a fee may apply for the work already completed. We will tell you the status of your order when you request a cancellation.

We provide our services with care and skill. To the extent allowed by law, our total liability for any claim connected to an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses, including lost profits, lost data, or business interruption. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

You may send us files through third-party tools such as Dropbox, Google Drive, WeTransfer, or FTP. Our website may also link to other sites. We are not responsible for the content, security, or policies of third-party tools or sites. Their use is at your own risk and subject to their own terms.

We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date. Your continued use of our website or services after a change means you accept the new Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute connected to these Terms or our services will be handled in the courts located in Virginia, unless the law requires otherwise. The GDPR and European data protection law may additionally apply.
